Allen opened Back in Touch Massage in 2001, focusing on the idea that massage should not be a once-a-year luxury, but an integral part of wellness for everyone. He envisioned Back in Touch as a “neighborhood massage studio,” low-key and friendly, and dedicated to giving great massages at affordable prices. He began his massage training in California, at the Massage School of Santa Monica; when he returned to New York, he continued his education at the Swedish Institute, becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist in 1991. He has continued his massage training in classes such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, anma and Reiki. Allen’s continuing enthusiasm about massage springs from seeing truly transformative results in his clients, and he enjoys teaching them about how the body works almost as much as he enjoys performing massage. Come in for a massage from Allen—you just might feel better than you have in years!

Ro has a healer's touch, and her greatest desire is to see people at peace in mind, body, and spirit. She knew early in life--at age eleven!--that she wanted to be a massage therapist. First trained at the Austin School of Massage in Texas, and later at the Exceptional Massage Institute in Arkansas, she has 10 years of experience in many different modalities of massage and bodywork. Ro wants people to understand that massage is not a luxury, but a necessity for well-being, and should be available to all.

Triqi began his career as a Certified Massage Therapist in 2000, after completing the 600 hour Certification Course at Bergen Healing Arts Institute in Emerson, NJ. During this training, which focused on Eastern modalities and Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory, Triqi made the “mind, body, spirit” connection, which sparked his interest in enery work and massage. “I believe energy—good energy—is an important part of massage. Anyone can touch…but can they feel? Triqi went on to complete the NYS Licensing Program at Healing Hands in Westwood, and he is both NYS licensed and nationally certified. Besides Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Shiatsu, and Medical Massage, Triqi practices Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilited Stretching (PNF) and Myofascial Release.

Scherri was educated at the Institute for Therapeutic Massage in Pompton Lakes, NJ, graduating in 2000. She says, “I never imagined I would be a Massage Therapist! However, I know I would never enjoy anything else more than this. As a therapist who is very active, I put myself in the place of the client. We all know how our bodies can react after strenuous exercise—or a hard day at work. I simply go after and pinpoint those exact areas of stress. You can’t miss with a massage from me!”
